Classroom Expectations
My Goal: My goal as your teacher is to help everyone be successful. I want all of you to excel both inside my classroom and beyond and am willing to work in order to help you do so. In order for us to work together I need you to follow these expectations when in my classroom. As with everything else in my class, if you are unable to follow these or need some clarification, I am more than happy to have a conversation with you at an appropriate time.
1. Respect yourself: This means you do everything you can to help yourself be an active learner. Come to class on time, prepared to learn, and ready to give your best effort. This is YOUR education, and you are expected to take an active role.
2. Respect others: You are not in this classroom alone. Please respect that others are here to learn, and for all of us to do this effectively we need to respect each other. This includes students, teachers, and guests in our classroom.
3. Respect the Process: I work very hard to make sure that this classroom is run in a way that helps all of you be successful. Please trust that what I am doing is done with intent and purpose, and it is expected that you will allow others and me to work through our own processes. I am always willing to explain anything to anyone or hear input from, but it needs to happen at an appropriate time.
